The logo comprises of a lion head surrounded by wreath which sits on two spears. The logo signifies excellence, enthusiasm and team work. Like a Lion, the BPS is the most relentless fighter in the face of policing challenges. Members of the BPS represent courage and strength in overcoming difficulties. The spears resemble protection offered by the Police whilst the wreath is a decorative feature symbolising  honour, integrity and good image the BPS pride itself with.
